I definately and without hesitation recommend Dr. Ousterhout for anyone contemplating Facial Feminization Surgery. If your experience with him and Mira are only half what I experience, you will be fully satisfied.

And his selected anethesiologist, Dr. Michael McGehhe, is just over the top considerate and caring. My thinking is you have to trust the anesthesiologist as much as the surgeon! And Dr. O has his five favorites of which I think I was given number one on anyone's list. My room was large, bright and well staffed. Certainly there's great comfort knowing a well-trained, skilled nursing staff is only a buttom away. I felt very safe and in the best hands possible should any complications occur. Dr. Ousterhout was the first person I remember seeing and conversing with (however briefly, for obvious reasons) after my surgery and again, his lovely bedside manner is something I will keep with me for a lifetime.

Dr. Ousterhout and his staff are both courteous and sensitive to their patient's unique needs. You are always their number one priority and I never felt as if I was being mixed up with another patient; I was always 'Melanie' from day one.
