A perfect diner, great food, great classic homey atmosphere. So happy to discover in our new hometown.
Tasteless meatloaf, instant mashed potatoes, canned corn, thick tasteless canned gravy (add some onions!), 3 shreds of carrot in the mayo-loaded cole slaw, cold roll. And who doesn't have lemon for your water? yup, u guessed it! Pathetic. Just do the chicken. Waitress not particularly pleasant but she knew her job and was efficient.
Excellent home style menu and a 10/10 on their in house made desserts!! Staff is warm and friendly. They even sell a small variety of random antiques
This is a great restaurant, the waitress is the best, she takes care of all the tables herself, she is a great woman.
I was super pumped to try this place because i’ve heard nothing but good things about it. I work nearby for the railroad and i decided to order lunch for takeout. My Mac n Cheese was cold like it just came out of the fridge. My chicken was pretty lousy and had an odd smell to it. Decided to try a gob and i wasn’t too impressed with that either the icing was way too sugary and the cake was bland and lacked flavor. 20 dollars wasted and that’ll be the last time i go there.
