I was fortunate enough to engage Our House to do our kitchen. Rachel and her team were terrific. Rachel revamped our architect's design to fit our kitchen space, then ordered all of the missing cabinetry. The installers were wonderful and very helpful. The whole experience was so easy that I have engaged Our House to do our kitchen in our new NYC apartment. Rachel and Drew have already been by the apartment, have measured and prepared plans, and will use the leftover materials from our Westchester home in our NYC apartment. ... read more

Hired Our House LLC to renovate the kitchen in our new home. They transformed the 1950's kitchen into a modern, classic New England kitchen. Rachel was great at helping me figure out the layout and how to utilize the space we were working with. Final project is beautiful!

I will start by saying the project turned out well. However, the path to getting to the end of the project was disorganized with an extreme lack of coordination between their own contractors and an extreme lack of communication with us and with their own contractors. An example: when their team did the demo of our kitchen, they did not disconnect the dishwasher because there was a plumbing problem with the dishwasher's shut off valve water line. They told no one. We hired Rachel at the recommendation of our neighbor who used them the year before. She was worth every penny we spent! We added a new kitchen and converted a large closet to a mudroom. We needed help with the actual layout of the cabinets and design of the function of the kitchen and mudroom. Rachel listened to our wants and desires and incorporated all in to the layout along with some of her own suggestions. Her 3-D visuals on the computer were helpful to visualize the finished product. We hired Our House to renovate our bathroom. They did a GREAT job. Everything was done in the time frame that was promised; the craft and level of the work was perfect; the crew was extremely professional; Drew and Rachel gave great advice and ideas; everyday when the crew left, they cleaned up and left everything neat and orderly. The bathroom was completely gutted - all new fixtures, new floor, new shower enclosure, a lot of tiling and came out perfect.

Our House Design & Construction designed and built our Connecticut IKEA kitchen in 2013. The result was excellent and surely helped us to sell the house, absolutely the objective. We were so happy with the resulting design and incredible functionality of that kitchen that we asked Rachel to design our Florida St. Martin Cabinetry kitchen and laundry room as well. Renovation of a kitchen. Project was done on time and on budget. Technical issues were addressed quickly and professionally. Some last minute redesign was required and the PO changes were done quickly to maintain the promised timeline. The build team worked very cleanly and was always polite and on time.

We hired Our House to design and install an IKEA kitchen for us, soup-to-nuts. Although we are particularly pleased with the results, the process was also far smoother and more in line with our expectations than that of other teams at work on our house at the same time: they were more communicative, more on schedule, far (far) more in budget and more respectful of our space and our resources than the various other teams involved in our renovation (so much so we've wondered from time to time why we only had them do the kitche... read more

I had the kitchen re-done and also had plumbing and electrical work done. They were very professional with their work and their staff was very prompt with replies and updates. I would definately recommend them to anyone!
