Dr. Ott is the most compassionate and helpful medical professional I have ever worked with. I have been around a lot of people in the healthcare world and I can honestly say that no one goes above and beyond the way that she does. After some time Melissa found a combination of meds that worked. I was stable for many years on that combination. When I foolishly wanted to go off the Lexapro she just let me do so without so much as a counsel. It would have been a game changer if she had warned me of the consequences of going off the Lexapro. She did not. When I asked about a certain symptom after stopping the Lexapro she merely said "It never goes well" without being more specific.
