I asked for something that was not on thier menu and they were willing to make it for me anyway. Very fast and friendly staff.

I love the artsy atmosphere at Otherlands. Makes a good place to stop by and do some work and catch up with people.
Otherlands is a local favorite and a midtown tradition. My only complaint is the narrow parking lot. So I park elsewhere. But the church next door is very generous with their spaces. And it is worth the tiny walk. The food is delicious. I have eaten their bagels for ten years at least. The coffee is fast and much better then the corporate coffee chains. My favorite spot is by the fish tanks. Don’t forget the live music and quaint gift shop.
Favorite coffee, food and live music destination in Memphis town! Some of the best music in Memphis gigs right here. If you miss a show here, you are missing out on Memphis musical magic. Recently went to see Delta Celtica for the second time and you must know they are a musical treat to the ears! Special mention, the flautist was exceptional. So Come on Out and experience this wonderful venue and jammin music in your own backyard. 🎶🎵☮️

Love otherlands! Bring headphones and study materials or bring a friend to enjoy a relaxing atmosphere. Either way, it’s a great loca for both!
So, this is a nifty coffee bar, more accurately a coffee *house.* It's decor is "artsy," as advertised, but more importantly it offers an exceedingly spacious, welcoming and comfortable environment. There's outdoor seating, too. The coffee is aces and the food is good albeit fairly no-frills.
