Best Affordable Italian Grub – I moved to the Virginia-Highlands neighborhood of Atlanta two years ago, and Osteria 832 has been a weekly staple for me. They're always winning "Best of Atlanta" awards in multiple publications for "best cheap eats", "kid-friendly", and "best Italian", and this true neighborhood joint has never let me down. They specialize in AFFORDABLE rustic Italian fare (pizza, pasta, antipasta, etc.) and weekend brunch. I prefer sitting on their pleasant patio. You can eat for well under 10 bucks.
AMAZING pizza! – YUM! we loved our pizza's - thin crust, fresh ingridients - just perfect :) service was very friendly and attentive. We'll be back for more !
Great Pizza+Great Pasta+Reasonable Prices – A good place for a casual dinner-large pizza portion, great-tasting pasta & don't miss their weekday beer specials.
Best Pizza, amazing wine list and fantastic authentic specials... – I lived in Italy and I have to tell you this place is so close to authentic you forget where you are! The pizzas are fantastic, my personal favorite is the Prosciutto & Arugula, honestly its addictive. They have delicious, adventerous specials and their wine list is amazing. The wine list honestly has something for everyone and in a range of prices. Tuesdays they have half priced bottles of wine. Try the Illuminati... amazing!
Great Italian (better than Figo) – Osteria's been in my neighborhood for a long time, and I'm cursing myself for not trying it sooner. As a long time proponent of Figo for cheap, good Italian, I can easily say Osteria is now the place I visit for my default Italian fix. Aside from a short wait (this place seems to stay relatively busy, almost all of the time), I've always been seated (inside) pretty quickly. The patio is a great option (especially in warmer months), but expect to wait if you really want a seat out there. Ser... read more
One of the best Italian resturaunts in Atlanta besides Figo Pasta – Osteria 832 has reasonable prices, reliable and excellent serbice, and it's in the great location of the Virginia-Highlands. I've only beent there once but I recommend to visit this resturaunt to anyone who wants to find a good Italian resturaunt in Atlanta. The only bad thing about Osteria is that it can get a little crowded at night, especially on the weekends. But I guess that's how all resturaunt are right?
Fast service -- too fast! – So the reasons why I like this place a lot are because the food is delicious, the waitstaff is very nice and laidback, and you never wait more than 20 minutes even at the height of dinner on a Saturday night. They have the most delicious gorgonzola sauce I've ever tasted, and their house wines, both red and white, are fabulous and SO cheap at 5.50 each. It would be perfect if the service weren't so fast! Yeah, that's right I said it. We Americans usually expect and demand fast service. But for me,... read more
Decent place – This restaurant was okay. I would say there is nothing at this place that you couldn't get at another pizza/"Italian" restaurant. I had the scampi, pretty good, but as another reviewer said there was a lot of oil on my scampi. I wouldn't go as far to say that it wasn't good, but there defintely is nothing special there. There is one thing that I noticed about this place when I was eating my food, the menu has cheap entrees. 10$ for a pizza, and 10$ for a bowl of scampi, that is not bad for the way things are a... read more
Mussels are awsome – I love the thin pizzas at Osteria. Also i keep coming back for the mussels. Only maggianos does them better. Now that it is not so hot out i will definately be hitting up osteria's patio more often.
