In the Tampa Bay area we have plenty of choices when it comes to outdoor gear retailers. But again and again my family and I return to Osprey Bay. They’re knowledgeable and helpful. They have no problem ordering an item if need be. They aren’t pushy but available to answer questions. Over the years we’ve purchased two decked out kayaks, backpacks, shoes, sandals and more sundries than I can even remember. Kim, Tom and their crew make being ‘outdoorsy’ easy.

Kim and Tom Doehleman provide the best customer service. They were extremely patient with beginner kayakers like myself. Highly recommend them for an awesome kayak experience.

I bought an Old Town 12 foot Loon back in January and just went back yesterday and helped a friend pick out his new Emotion 11 foot kayak. I LOVE my kayak and go out on a river almost every weekend. I've been to ALL the kayak stores in the Tampa Bay area and hands down this is the best store. This store is fantastic! The people are helpful, knowledgeable but not pushy!! The prices are fantastic!
