I had to take my 2 year old daughter to the ER tonight for an illness and the staff was amazing. We really liked them all but especially liked Jennifer and Sara. Jennifer was able to examine my baby without her crying which is a first for my lil one. They were all very gentle with my baby and very patient taking the time to talk to her and also to me about her care. I felt very confident with their care and appreciated all that they did to make my girl feel a little better. Thank you Ladies on Wednesday night shift, you are ... read more

This is from my friend Kristy who, because of her disease, could very well lose her life if she does not get treatment for a simple sinus infection. #fightforkristy "This is something on my heart and asking for help!!! Because of my rare disease the local hospital OSF has refused to treat me for a upper respiratory infection and sinus infection even though I have given them many ideas and paperwork on how to treat "the common cold" I'm not asking them to fix my Masto disease im asking them to let me feel better by giving me ... read more

I understand that it may not always be possible to see our primary physician at the exact time we need to and that is where the PAs and Nurse Practitioners come in the play however, neither my husband or myself have been able to see our primary in probably close to 2 years! The wait is usually over a month out. Today my husband called to schedule an appointment to be seen with ANYONE and they didn't have any appointments the rest of the month! How is that possible? I understand we can go to Prompt Care but they won't run all... read more

My husband and I have been patients of Bro-menn for many years. After my mother was absolutely ignored for 8 hrs in the ER there (and yes, we continually asked for someone to help her) and then we also had bad experiences there, we decided to go to St. Joseph's since our insurance finally accepted OSF as a provider. My husband has been seen twice and I have been seen once, all in the ER and the care that was given to us was beyond a positive experience! All the staff has been very nice and very caring! Keep up the great work... read more

Poor dr patient communication. Dr don't care if you don't have your medications no matter how detrimental the effect are of not having that medications Stay away from Dr gallue and pam. Norris office they don't return phone calls and prefer to see you visit the er for a simple medication prescription

Normally i dont have any trouble scheduling to have test done but this time has been a real pain. I tried several times o. Friday to just get please leave a message. Now it is monday and i still get the same message. With no calls back from any one. Then some else from anther dept tells me t That the dr office has to schedule this test. They are not recieving any reponse either. I always pick St. Joseph. Over the other Hospital but really disappointed with the service this time.

While the emergency room leaves much to be desired, the icu and other units are fantastic in my opinion..

I had an awesome experience with OSF with complications in my pregnancy. I went to the ER because I couldn't breath and staff were on top of it! They got me back to a room almost immediately, did the proper tests, and kept me calm. I ended up on a regular floor, than transferred to ICU, then finally labor and delivery. On all those floors I received awesome care! It was very much appreciated! My son was brought into this world safely and now we are both happy and healthy!!!

Everyone is always so caring for my daughter. Couldn't ask for a better hospital. Need prayers for my daughter she is back at er for a high blood sugar . She has been in and out of the er/icu at 30x in the last 14 months. Just last week and this week was admitted in icu. Since she got on Wednesday she has gone to the er not admitted 2x tonight makes the 3rd time. The machine at the er is just reading high so we have to wait till they do labs so we can find out what her blood sugar is. Hoping she doesn't get admitted again. A... read more
