Been a patient here - both inpatient & outpatient - for over 12 years (now ~10 years in the Center for Cancer Care here also). I've always received excellent care.
Excellent care this week in the ortho ward. My RNs, Pebbles, Jeremy, & Connie, kept me pain free and "at home" comfortable away from home. PTs Carrie & David got me up & moving on day one...and learning stairs on day 2! And the CNAs work their behinds off; especially helpful were Joice, Rigo, & Linda. Respiratory, Housekeeping, & Nutrition round out an amazing staff...and I'm so thankful for the care!
My experiences at OSF were good. I like the fact that the Sisters come into your room and pray for/with you. Prayer makes all the difference.
Waited 4.5 hours to never be seen. Watched people come in after my husband with non life threatening issues go in and come out while my husband waited in the waiting room... Horrible horrible horrible. When the staff was asked they just gave a run around answer. Will never go back....

Horrible experience at the emergency room. 3 hours of waiting and didn't even get to see a doctor. I can understand if there were no rooms available. However, quite a few people who checked in after my boyfriend were seen, treated, and left before he was even seen. Not every person needed to be seen so urgently that they couldn't wait for the people who were already there.
