OSF is the only hospital in Rockford. Thier nurse's are wonderful to work with.
always great to me been going for 40 years . seldom any questions all my medical history in thier files for immediate access.
They were very quick with taking care of me , got me in and out and I'm already feeling a lot better!
Dr.Todd Alexander many say comes off as arrogant and pompous, but that's because he knows his business and I wasn't about to let anyone else do my 4 tier cervical with titanium rods.
Awesome nurses that really payed attention to what was going on with me. The nurses kept me well informed of what was going on. Very fast service as i was only there 1 1/2 hours compared to the 5 hours spent at another local hospital for the same thing. The nurses and doctors really seemed to care about their patients and got to me within a timely manner which i can say is the total opposite of the other hospital. Do not know how I was brought in was told later by ambulance. I was very scared and very alone. I was told 3 liters of blood and other floods were all over my bedroom. Later they change it to about 2 1/2 liters I am still alive. 2nd fluids at normal again. Now have to rest and be ready for next battle.
I was there with my elderly morher. She was a patient for 5 days. She was told she could not walk unless someone was with her noone would help her, time to leave and she wasn't able to walk at all. She needed a minor procedure,and we were never told all of the complications she could have from it, many of them are very common, but then again with the kidney problems she had, she should never have had the procedure. I'm very disgusted with this facility and I can only pray noone in my family ever has to fo to it.
