Lazy solution to an economical problem. Maybe put in some specials? A specialty dessert you can mark up? Trivia nights? People go to restaurants for the experience, because they want to go out and have a good time, especially in the current economy which makes it really hard to go out because everything is so expensive. I would never expect a “friendly FAMILY restaurant” to discourage sharing food, not only is it greedy but it doesn’t make any sense.
