Services at the OGJVAMC have been stellar except for Travel. I have repeatedly called for bus reservations and have left all necessary information as well as my phone number. I never receive a call back and when I show up for the bus, no reservation recorded. This has happened a number of times. Why does the travel clerk not return calls? If they are that busy, maybe they need some help.
God bless the people that work here!! I can’t be there for my mom as she undergoes various treatments for alcohol-related problems and the nurses, doctors and staff have been nothing but caring and professional with her care. The customer service I received during my many phone calls does make a huge difference since I can’t be there to know what’s going on. THANK YOU
I posted this a few days ago on my page. Just got back from Iron Mountain VA Center and when i arrived this morning first thing I realized, I forgot my wallet. However I was allowed to be seen for my appointment. I usually have lunch or breakfast afterwards, not today. To my surprise while getting free coffee and cookies I took time to speak with the volunteers, reminisce. If you are unfortunate enough to reach a human being on the telephone you will likely receive unprofessional and discourteous service. The Billing/Debt Collection Department is a total nightmare. They'll sic the IRS on you in a heartbeat before trying to remedy a billing problem.
Felt not only cared for, but cared about !
My husband has been going there for years and have never had a bad experience. Always gone home with a good experience from all the staff and Doctors.
