I found my consultation with this surgeon extremely disappointing. In my experience, his manner was rude, dismissive, and abrupt. I did not feel properly listened to, and it felt as though I was only allowed to answer his questions rather than explain my concerns or ask my own. For a specialist dealing with patients who are often anxious, in pain, or looking for clarity, I expected a much more respectful and professional approach. I agree with 2 other reviews, Rude, Arrogant and up himself. I had shoulder surgery for torn tendons in June 2025. The physiotherapists said I was progressing better than normal; however, I overdid the exercises and must have damaged the tendon as I had severe pain. When reviewing the second MRI on the shoulder, Dr Osbourne forced me to move the shoulder in the way that caused the problem without any empathy for the pain it was causing me and told me I was just a slow healer. I had a Left TKR on the 29-04-2025 I cannot thank Dr Donald Osborne & his Staff enough . Dr Osborne came and seen me every morning in hospital to see how I was doing and if I had any questions for him . Thank you so much Dr Osborne for everything you have done for Me over the past 9 Months . If there were 10 stars on here that’s what I would be giving you . Once again Thank You .

Unfortunately, not a good outcome in regards communication, compassion and empathy. Very rude, arrogant with no bedside manner. Has no regards too the patients concerns or enquiries, would be nice to be asked “how is things going” “how’s your pain” “how are you managing things”. He needs to have more empathy and be able to take the time to listen and talk with his patients. On the brighter side at this stage the operation went well. Let’s see how the next six months go.
