Dr Chen is very professional and I can feel that he really cares. Unfortunately I didn’t get the assistance from his scheduler Katylin Jackman. She suggested that I do my EKG as soon as possible but no orders were sent to Sentara, the reason, I didn’t mention the specific Sentara location. The transcript or office note from my visit on 19 Aug that I requested to be sent to my VA PCP was never received. I asked her yesterday, 26 Aug, the day of my phone appointment with my PCP, if the notes were sent , she said “it was sent”.
Dr Novak and his team are excellent. I had a partial knee replacement in 2019 and have had a positive outcome, Dr Novak was careful to explain my options and his PA Jaime did a great job in explaining the procedure and closing the incision to minimize scarring. I highly recommend Dr Novak to friends and family for knee or shoulder issues; he and the entire OrthoVIrginia crew are outstanding.

Dr Paul Kiritsis and Amanda Groupman, PA, performed emergency surgery to repair an angulated fracture and displacement of the proximal end right humerus and shoulder on May 4th. The surgery went well and I am on the road to recovery. The follow-up visits with Dr Kiritsis and PA Groupman have addressed my recovery needs in a professional and caring manner.
