Dr. Shaia was an answer to prayer! I was in such pain that I couldn't walk before my first THR. I was blessed to have him for my appt without knowing of him. He listened to me and quickly set up a surgery date within 11 days. My surgery on both hips went very well. The entire nursing staff at OrthoVirginia was remarkable. Dr. Shaia and his staff were most professional and kind. I could not be more satisfied with the skill and care that Dr. Shaia provides. I recommend him highly!
Dr. Shaia has been very attentive to any concerns that I’ve had about treatment for my knee. His staff is very helpful and courteous.
Dr. Harry Shaia is a great orthopedic surgeon and I would recommend him to anyone who has orthopedic needs. You will receive a card with everyone's name (who operated during surgery) and their position after the surgery, so you can hold the persons responsible for their work. Dr. Shaia will also push you through physical therapy when needed. He will be a good fit for you if you need a little push in your life. Dr, Shaia's team is professional and to the point. They may not be there to answer

He has been the absolutely best orthopedic surgeon ever! I have recommended him to everyone I know with a Ortho problem. As a nurse, I have personally seen him on several occasions for minor problems that he has diagnosed and treated conservatively with 100% success . The dreaded cortisone injections were a cake walk. My husband with a knee replacement and my mother with fractures of her elbow, hip and most recently a ankle fracture. He is the absolute best! I’d walk in blind faith with his recs
