Ortho pets has been a godsend for my cocker spaniel, Molly. She tore her ACL last year, had the surgery however it failed. Then she got sick and was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease which compromised her health to the point where she could not have surgery again and her little leg got no attention and developed severe muscle atrophy. After my Catahoula tore her acl we consulted with a surgeon. We were told he would do a reverse tplo and would have to install some metal parts. He advised us of the risk of cancer and quoted us a 4k$ cost. After searching for conservative methods/alternatives I stumbled upon OrthoPets. Very glad I did. I recommend them and if I have to will use them again.

Like Nancy, I too applaud OrthoPets work with Orthotics and Prosthetics but not their work with customers. We had a custom made orthotic for our dog that never fit. My vet and I must have sent 4 sets of video and still pictures but they never seemed to provide enough information for them to recall the device and make the necessary adjustments. Finally a year later, they indicate to me that they will adjust it (finally!) but for considerable $$. So much for a free adjustment on a device that never fit from the time we receive... read more
