Had hip replacement with Dr.Jay Patel in August 2024. Never took one pain pill, just acetaminophen. Walking without walker in 3 days. It is like I never had a surgery! Can do everything I want and I am VERY active ( :
This place is money hungry. $30 for any type paper work needed to be filled out for your employer. They also refuse to see patients that can’t afford to pay copayments. Rude front desk.
Had a 8 am first appointment of the day. Already waiting for 25 minutes. Plus they ask for insurance when you make an appointment, day before you check in they want to upload online and then when you show up for the appointment. Same information. 3 times. Ridiculous. And this is even before I have seen the doctor. Just horrible introduction to the practice.
My wife’s hip replacement with Dr Patel in 2019 was great. She is doing her second hip in 2024. She got “drain pain” but that just can happen sometimes - maybe cuz her legs are so ridiculously strong. Hopefully this time it doesn’t. She still feels it. She really likes Dr Patel and he was great at listening to her concerns. Now we know what to expect so recovery will be much faster I’m sure.
