This is the best place in Louisiana. Arrived 30 minutes early and was called back immediately. Since it had been years since my last X-ray they had X-rays done and when the doctor came in he greeted my wife and I and explained in detail why i was in pain. He explained the treatment and if it come to it surgery. Highly recommended.

Very nice Doctors and Staff. In & out with not much of wait time.
Dr. Acurio is the best orthopedic surgeon in the area hands down. His bed side manner is second to none. I’m on day 2 of my knee surgery and I’m already walking (about 2 minuets every hour with and without crutches ) with very minimal pain. His staff from the ladies that check you in to Elinor in accounting and even his nurse practitioner was friendly helpful and even pleasant. They all had a great since of humor. The Best group of Doctors , highly recommend them.
I broke my left arm playing football for Captain Shreve in 1973 (1973 State Champions); and apparently, it didn't heal all the way. In my hand, xrays showed a small bone that is shattered. Ugh! .... Dr. Cooper is gonna do surgery on it December 1st. I've been having to get celestone injections in my hand because of all the pain I've been having. I just woke up one morning and it was killing me. Dr. Cooper diagnosed it to be shattered (post traumatic arthritis). It's the only previous injury to that arm. I just pray my surger... read more
