I had 2 ankle surgeries, Dr Sibel was very patient with on my journey. His team is truly the best. They answered all my question and really supported thru my surgeries. Thank you so very much. Surgery is such a scary thing and I felt I was in good hands. Michelle Farber
I think Dr. Sibel is a very competent MD. My issue is with his staff which makes it difficult for me to return to his practice. Your staff is a reflection of you. If a patient calls because they are experiencing an increase in pain that is worrisome and the staff says, I will call you back in the AM and they haven't called back in 2 days, there is an issue. If this is how you treat a patient with a concern, I don't think this is the practice for me.
Dr. Sibel, Jeremy his PA, and all his nursing staff are excellent. They showed me nothing but grace and humility. They showed me what it is liked to be cared by people who do not know me. My ordeal has taken almost a year and in that time I have been treated with nothin but respect. I joke with the staff and they joke back. I would recommend Dr. Sibel's office to any one who need him. I have nothing but good things to say and to Janette, Lisa and Jeremy, thank you for everything.
I find Dr Sibel to be lacking bedside manner. He's very abrasive when interacting with me during our visits. He doesn't like to be challenged or questioned, and will quickly disengage if you attempt to disagree with him. Simply put, terrible staff, not helpful nor supportive with my surgical recovery. Every appointment is rushed, as he constantly overbooks his patients. I would never recommend him to anyone.
Surgery results were not as expected, I ended up with a repair of something we never discussed. Post op appointment was difficult, Nurse was very rude and lacked bedside manner, in addition, surgery was explained and appointment was very rushed. It seems that Sibel overbooks himself, as all of my visits seem impersonal and very rushed. Post op recovery plan has not been very specific, and I feel as though I'm behind in terms of recovery. I often regret having had this procedure.
I never made it in to see Dr. Sibel and decided to go elsewhere because his office is extremely hard to get in touch with and the receptionist was rude and lacked any type of willingness to help. It is unfortunate that a potentially good doctor in town is hindered by his staff.
Dr. Sibel was extremely interested in my condition and spent a great amount of time with me in the exam room. He was caring and understanding of my situation. His staff was amazing as well.
