Dr Ghavam took his time to explain the MRI, surgical procedure, and recovery. He is very caring, listens to me and my concerns, explains everything in detail, and is patient. He was very confident in the procedure, gave me hope, and assured me he had over 100 accomplished fusions. On July 25, 2018, he performed my surgery. Everything is perfect! He did not fail me or my expectations of him! Thank you, Dr Ghavam for giving me a better life and promising future. I am forever grateful!
I have had a great experience with Dr. Ghavam. We had a bumpy road a first but he put me in contact with the person over scheduling and we got it figured out . He comes across as a very caring person (doctor). I would have no problem having him do surgery again if I needed it. I'm so happy with the surgery and the recovery. I only had to take pain meds for 3 or 4 days. I know we all heal differently but I was so taken back with all of this. THANKS AGAIN TO DR. GHAVAM ,STAFF AND SALEM HOSP
i found Dr Ghavam to be very attentive listened to my concerns answered all my questions on what to expect from my surgery, he showed me the x-rays and we went over them together.All post op visits that i have had so far have been the same . its been a little over two months and i am feeling good about my decision to do the surgery. The surgery to open up the spinal canal and give room for the nerves to move was highly successful. NO more leg, knee and sciatic nerve pain.

Dr. Ghavam is the absolute best Orthopedic that I have seen. He is very thorough with the explanation of what needs to be done to get you back to normal, he even broke it down to me so I could understand. His staff is so freaking nice, I had several questions about my surgery, because I am a worry wart, they made me so relieved and would not hang up the phone until I was comfortable.
Dr. Graham is a caring physician who has taken time to listen to what I had to say and the knowledge and ability to correct my problem. He is the only doctor I could find that would take me on as a patient after another doctor at Vanderbilt has written me off. If I ever have any spine problems in the future, I would not hesitate to seek help from Dr. Graham again.
