RecommendedDr. Sohlberg said I might need a surgery to fix my deformed fingernail. But he lanced the fluid sac, wrapped it tightly, and it has not come back. I'm thrilled.
Orthopedic and Fracture Specialists are awesome! I go to Dr. Venessa Stas, who is amazing with knees, but her medical assistant Leslie is a doll as well. Everyone is super nice and helpful from the front desk to the x-ray techs to the doctors. If you need any orthopedic consults look no further.
Dr.Paul Duwelius replaced my right knee after three injections of Synvisk or some other similar product. After the third one I was almost unable to walk. Surgery was performed on December 13, 2017. On JANUARY 8, 2018 my daughter called 911 because I was so short of breath. I was taken to the emergency room at St. Vincents where I was treated for an atrial flutter and rapid heart rate. Dr Sohlberg and team were amazing! They were easy to communicate with and surgery went great!
They did say to a great job on my right knee that I’m going back in January to have my left knee done every single person I dealt with was extremely professional and very friendly
I had both my knees replaced due to many years with an autoimmune disease. My knees were complete wrecks with many bone pebbles and other issues. Dr. Stas did both knees 3 months apart. The surgery was at Providence St. Vincent and I cannot say enough about the care I received from Dr. Stas, Dr. Kiss, and everyone at St. Vincent. Dr. Stas gave me my life back. I was up and walking hours after surgery, even going up a few stairs the next day. I feel incredibly lucky to have found Dr. Stas at Orthopedic + Fracture Specialists.

Honest analysis followed by in-depth explanation of the situation and the procedure to remedy the problem. The whole team gets involved in preoperation counseling and preparation. The operation must have been a success because I have no pain and can walk fine. There are a few follow-up appointments to see how things are going and insure that the recovery is complete. Over 5 years now without hip pain is wonderful. Thanks To ALL of the team!
