I first saw Rain (I remembered her name because I thought it was cool) who is Dr. Kasow assistant. She listened patiently to my history and made notes. Then I saw Dr. Kasow who reviewed my imaging an thoroughly explained what he saw and his treatment plan. I left feeling confident of his abilities. But I will reserve the 5th Star for my recovery.
Great team, great doctor. Dr. Blackwood is very approachable, friendly, medically conservative (surgery only if really necessary). Should I ever again need an orthopedist, or should I be asked for a recommendation: it'll be him!
OrthoAtlanta is a very professional orthopedics office. I have seen Dr.Kasow for a very complex lower back problem. After seeing 3 other doctors who told me they could not do surgery on my back, Dr. Kasow has confidence that he can. He went over all the details that would be involved including the not so good ones. I appreciate that he shares his knowledge with you so you have a defined understanding of what to expect and you can make a better decision regarding your surgery.
