I had the displeasure of having a lumbar cortisone injection through OrthoVirginia's Drill Mill at the Westchester office. They used to respect their patient's comfort by offering an IM injection for help take the edge off of four back injections. BUT NOOOooo!! YET, I HAD NO LESS THAT 4 SEPERATE MEDICAL STAFF ASK ME IF I HAD TAKEN ANY ATIVAN. I RESPONDED, NO I WAS NOT GIVEN THAT OPTION. My experience at OrthoVirginia was not a positive one. My wait time was 1hr and 40 minutes and this was first ever appointment. That alone has left a lasting impression. How could I recommend friends and family to go there, they would be subject to the same treatment I got, even if the doctor is highly rated no one wants to be kept waiting only then to be told you can keep waiting or go reschedule. I was there to address a right shoulder issue, but they ended up ordering an MRI for my left shoulder instead. The mistake was careless and added to an already frustrating experience..
