Finding decent care in the Greater ABQ Area is so hard! I’ve been coming here a couple of years, but I don’t think I can tolerate this practice anymore. 1. I brought them 2 new patients (& $$$…). 2. When my husband needed Testosterone, he was immediately diagnosed prescribed it after his 1st ever appointment. 3. When I (a woman) needed hormones, I was told to try supplements, repeat lab work multiple times, & put off for nearly 6 months. Monica has been a great doctor for us. but the admins at the front almost make it unbearable to want to return. I called to request a phone call appointment with Monica and I was already fully aware that it would require a payment. the admin proceeds to tell me insurance companies are changing policies by the day and may not pay for it. I know that my policy doesn't change except for one time per year and we had a tele-appointment with Monica that was paid for by my insurance. If you have a busy life and don’t have time to micromanage every step don’t bother with this office. I showed up at 10:40 and 30 seconds and they cancelled my appointment and refused to work with me. Zero care for patients. Don’t waste your time

I went to establish medical care. The provider said I need to get a mammogram which I’m agreeable. We discussed medications and a serious pancreas issue. I asked for a refill of a pretty basic medication which she was agreeable to. I asked for supplies to check my glucose levels. She was also agreeable to that. I walked out of the clinic with none of what we discussed. It sounds like basic medical care is conditional upon a quick return.
