Made a first time appointment for 4 to 6 pm. Representative did not show up. Called at 6:30 and was told that the office was closed. Gentleman who answered the 800 line said that he would submit a complaint for me. Called again the next day and left a message to reschedule. No return phone call.
Very surprised by Orkin's sales tactics. I called to get service at my home and was told that I could cancel a 1 year contract at any time, even though it was technically a one year contract. As it seemed strange, I confirmed with the sales rep 3x, and he assured me that I could cancel ANY TIME! What I would lose is the up front service fee and the ability to call them to service if I was unhappy. Here I am a few months later and told I CANNOT cancel.
