Our Family loves The Original Roadhouse... Great steaks!! Great Service!! and they even give us bread to go! I drive an hour to get here and it's worth it every time!!

My husband and I went here for date night 7/14/17. Arrived around 4:45pm. The hostess looked at us and said "sit anywhere". We typically like the Original Roadhouse but we left extremely disappointed. The service was awful. My husband's coffee cup stayed empty, my steak had no seasoning on it and it was over cooked and tough.The salad was warm and wilted and the grilled veggies were raw. The only time we saw our waitress is when she delivered the food and the bill. Probably won't go back for looonnnggg awhile.
To tell the truth, I've had better service at Carl's Jr. Waited 20 minutes for a refill of coffee and it tasted like tea. Never saw my server until the ticket was dropped off. She took my card fast though. Kept it another 10 minutes while she took orders at other tables. We had to ask different servers for just about everything. Except the check. Yeah. My wife and I will take our business elsewhere.
We left our air conditioned house on a 90 degree day to have dinner here. The temperature inside the restaurant wasn't much different from the outside. My iced tea was so warm I ordered a quart jar full of ice to cool it off. The waitress told me the jars were reserved for bar drinks...but she brought it anyway. My man was so hot he couldn't eat his dinner so we had it boxed up and took it home. Who knows what the food was like, we were too misserable to notice. Sorry, not an enjoyable dinning experience.
Waitress was great, food was yummy, but the restaurant was extremely hot! Not sure if the ac was working. I wondered why I found such a great parking spot, now I know.
