I am so glad that I found Origin! I have been considering undergoing a major surgery because of the pain I’ve been in, but so far my PT has helped me manage my pain in a way that makes me think surgery is not necessarily the only path. After suffering through chronic pain for 19 months I finally switched from Kaiser to Anthem insurance to expand my reach after not finding any relief with my previous doctors. I did a lot of research and found a great PCP who suggested Origin Physical Therapy to see if a pelvic floor specialist could help. The service was great as soon as I walked in. Paulina was understanding and patient through the entire session.
Appointments lacked the care , Paulina my PT made it feel rushed each time I met her. and not as descriptive of what the future sessions look like. Until I had to find out myself. Overall the quality of the sessions did not make me feel like this is someone you can trust through the process. Didnot have a great experience overall.
I was referred here by my primary care provider and went to book an appointment online. However, they charge a $50 “platform fee.” It was hidden in very fine print right underneath the credit card info, which is standard to provide to book medical appointments, but I have never heard of a platform fee for any medical provider. I didn’t continue with booking the appointment because of this. There are already so few options for women to get good quality medical care, and adding this fee on top is giving pink tax.
