I have been waiting 1 hour on the line for someone to solve my problem. Very bad at customer service
I am having disturbed sleep because of the complaints part and distression they have caused. after 11 yrs of no life suppourt they started sending letters all time. they refused to sort out. then orega got involved and made so worse. texts daily. when we spoke on phone she blamed me for mistake just because I said I had a disabled son. no responsibility. she wanted new meter no. When call centre staff assume you are lying from the outset it becomes impossible to communicate. I will have to go to the head office to show the bank statements to clear my good name. If not it's off to the ombudsman. So MANY one star reviews. I wonder why?
Trying to contact Origin to help me with my current bill. I get a call centre somewhere overseas, the young lady (whose thick accent was difficult to understand, let alone that the call kept dropping out while she was talking and her volume was really low which made it very difficult to understand) was trying her best but couldn't help me. We decided that she would pass my query on to the technical team, then they would email me that afternoon with their answer. They lied they were meant to put in a smart meter upgrade they didnt...this what the email said .... Across the energy industry, the smart meter rollout is happening. This means a meter provider will be coming out to replace your electricity meter at the above supply address. They'll be upgrading your meter to a new smart meter. THEY DIDNT SO THEY ORIGIN ENERGY LIED
