$1000 overcharge on the final bill based on estimate. Previous bills were all real readings. They're doing this to thousands of unsuspecting families. Disgusting predatory behaviour, will be reporting to ombudsman. Edit: the response is irrelevant. I've already handled fixing the cost of my bill. It took me a while to learn what was wrong with my bill and how it worked, something most families will be in similar or worse shoes for than myself. I’m writing this review as I plan on going to the ombudsman and putting a huge complaint in with Origin. My internet keeps disconnecting as they keep setting us up at the wrong address. I work from home and I cannot work unless I have internet. This is about the 5th time I’ve complained about this and every single time they have just temporarily fixed the issue. No one has bothered to find out the resolution. Why do we keep paying for a service that I can’t even access? I have had the worst customer experience.
I'd like to write this review for one of Origin energy team member who had been helping me deal with an issue that arised during my first 4 months being with them. JEREMY was super helpful and understanding of the issue I had, which I felt very valued. Even though we couldn't fix the problem on the day, he was persistent with getting to the bottom of the problem and getting back to me when he could. We are moving to a new house, we finally choose origin but after 10 business days, we still couldn't connect the gas and electricity, the customer team just let us hold the lane again and again, we waste at least 10hours on the phone and 10days for no gas. when we ask for cancellation, they ask for the account set up fee , holy 😕😕😕😕😕
