I went to get my battery and alternator checked. I was told the alternator was bad and the reason car wouldn’t stay charged. I spent $269 on alternator. I was charged 300 to get it put on . I had the alternator checked when I brought the old one back and it was still a good alternator. Turnout it was a bad battery instead of alternator. I had to buy a battery too. I wasted a lot of unnecessary money bill money this weekend.

Man, shout-out to O'Reilly Auto Parts #948 on Bob Wallace Ave. in Huntsville. Hot-rodders' store. They stock a lot of older parts the other O'Reilly stores don't (like my Torino transmission mount), you go in there and it's a great mix of people and tats everywhere and all that good stuff. Service is friendly and excellent. A red primered '55 Chevy on Ansen Sprints was pulling out as I pulled in the lot, not unusual to see that kind of stuff at all.
