Recognizing a need for a tool store in the Roseburg area, I decided to fill this need by borrowing $5,000.00 from my mother, renting a 288 square foot building in Winston and opened Oregon Tool and Supply on October 1st, 1983. With only nine months in business, Oregon Tool and Supply expanded so quickly we had to move to a larger facility in Roseburg. Earlier today I personally warrantied out a ratchet at Oregon Tool in Roseburg, OR. I took the ratchet back to the shop proceeded to use ratchet to remove an axle nut and the $95.00 "quality" tool made by S-K literally bent almost in half and the inside of the ratchet grenades. I returned to Oregon Tool to once again warranty out a tool and was then asked to leave by the very rude woman behund the counter.
