Went last night for the first time. Was looking forward to trying the chicken and corn they've been advertising. Chicken was tender and moist but not smoky at all. The corn was canned corn so wasn't pleased with that. But potato salad was outstanding. Maybe they were having an off day?
We drove there last night, didn't know they didn't have traditional seating. Had to clean up a picnic table ourselves before we could sit down to eat our food. They were filthy, we asked for something to clean with, used paper towels, not very successfully, asked again for something to wipe them off, finally got a rag. We drove from West Salem thinking we were going to a sit down restaurant, it's only take out, the blurbs on Facebook were deceiving. Food was good, but wouldn't make a point to drive there just to get it.
Hey I've been going there for their awesome bbq for a while . But last night I tried the Cesar salad with the brisket. You guys hit it out of the park what a great salad . My new favorite :)
I thought the chicken was just ok, it had a lot of fat and grissle, I thought it was going to be tender smoked chicken, but it was just regular bbq chicken.
It's the best BBQ I've had in a long time. Thank you guys for the awesome food :)
The meat and beans are amazing. Best I've ever had. The salads could used some work, but I know that's not there claim to fame. All in all great. Add a great cornbread recipe and it would be heaven.
Thank-you for the food at my uncle ricks celebration of life today. As usual it was great.
Best barbecue around prices are reasonable service is excellent would recommend to anyone

Ok so my grade is a bit misleading because the food is a 5* even the service was a 5* but somehow my order got mixed up and I ended up with the wrong food. Still delicious just not what I ordered and paid for lol.
