My partner and I have enjoyed calling OR 42 home for many years now. The location truly can't be beat—just one block from the central business district. We have saved so much time having a grocery store on the same block, as well as being within walking distance of the post office and a shipping center. I wish I could give 4 and a half. There are minor issues that many others have pointed out, but overall I have no problem recommending someone to live here, and negative experiences were few and far between. Docking a full star feels harsh, so I'm sticking with 5* especially given that others have given 1 star reviews for issues that are not as bad as they make them out to be. **UPDATE** there’s a reason for this business having a 3 and a half star review. Originally things were great and the process was smooth and easy. But now I would not recommend. I have been here for less than a year and am being harassed by a woman and her corgi that lives here. And there’s nothing the apartment can do besides a “we are sorry that happened to you.” I’m so disappointed that I’m the one opting to move out because they have tenants here making the complex unsafe for your pets and for anyone who may be strugglin... read more

This is our fourth year living in Oregon42 and we have no plan to live anywhere else. Julie, Drew and Vold are outstanding managers and maintenance people and do everything to promote a sense of community that is safe, clean and beautiful. The location is great with 4 grocery stores within a 4 block radius. The rapid transit bus line is less than a block away. Multiple restaurants are located close by.
