I have been going to this doctor for a couple years now. All he wants to do is up your medication. I had to have brain surgery of a tumer they found that was there 5 years ago that is did see in the MRI. Had a eeg done and they were concerned about the results 2 1/2 months later nothing has been done. The neurosurgeon at Hershey said they should be doing more than just up the medication.
I love this doctor. He speaks to you and not at you and makes you feel like you are important. He shows concern for your issues and works on getting you the help you need. His staff is very friendly and professional and from what I've seen show a genuine concern for your needs.

I was seen by Dr. Knipe on two different occasions and the second visit I had no choice because it was an emergency and he was the only one available. He is extremely rude, and very rough when working on your mouth. I told him several times that the Novocaine had not yet kicked in and he said he didn't have the time to wait, He had other patients to see. After yelling out in extreme pain, he told me to "shut up" twice! I will never go back to him no matter how urgent it is! His bedside manner is horrible!

This is the only dentist I have ever known to go above and beyond the call of duty to make himself available for dental emergencies. He is no-nonsense, straight-forward, and extremely competent. He doesn't try to sell you on unnecessary procedures, and won't harass you if you have poor dental health. It's about as pleasant as going to a dentist can be, without a whole bunch of fluff and sales. Dr. Carlisle is what a dentist should be.
