Dr. Penner is wonderful! He took his time listening to my health concerns and was very thorough. I appreciate how went over my health history in detail and provided some insight into my problems. I highly recommend him!
My experience at Optum was disappointing. When I arrived, the staff got me into a wheelchair and escorted me to a room, and everyone I interacted with was very nice and respectful.However, when the doctor came in, I was told that I had cellulitis, but no blood work or other tests were done. I was prescribed cephalexin and told to take it four times a day, which I did as instructed. I have had by far the worst experience with this clinic. It is very impossible to get any refills on medications and also you cannot directly call and talk to your doctor or have anyone call you back. They have a prior authorization team for medication refills that always fill out your paperwork incorrectly and then you miss your medication dose and then you get sick but no one cares. I suggest you guys find a better doctor that actually cares .
Highly recommend Dr. Shipchandler! I cannot say enough nice things about her. She has the most wonderful bedside manner. Warm. Friendly. Kind. Knowledgeable. And most importantly she actually listened to me! As a woman, I know what it is to not feel heard or seen by a doctor. Dr. Shipchandler is such a good listener!
