I was a member of Optimal from 2015-2020 but left during the pandemic due to a move. I rejoined a couple of months ago, and it's been a very positive experience. The gym is clean, has all the equipment/free weights you'd ever need and is never too busy. The gym is a great value. Shout out to Marissa who literally remembered me (and my name) when I was rejoining after a 5-year hiatus. I highly recommend the yoga class, Gabby is a great instructor.
This is a gem of a gym in a very convenient location. It has a lot of equipment, is very clean, and the management and other members are extremely courteous and friendly. It has a really nice vibe and I highly recommend it!
Of the three gyms I belong to Optimal is my favorite. For starters, I am light sensitive and hate big glass windows with glaring sunlight. so prevalent at other gyms. Optimal on Walnut is windowless and the vibe is really cozy. I take the Power Glutes and Silver Sneakers classes. The instructors are devoted to Optimal and its members and great at what they do. I've been a member for two years and truly enjoy my time there.
