This company is dishonest and tries to scam people with tricare. They are cheating members of the military. I highly recommend you avoid them.
I have been receiving threatening notices for an alleged past due account for over four months, openly accusing me of ignoring their appeals. I have spoken with sales reps on the phone several times, even resolved an issue regarding secondary insurance which they did not have on record. Unable to reach anyone on the phone to discuss a double charge on my bill. SOOO disgusted.
Love love we finally have help with our CPAP mask leak. We live in Las Vegas and was first given a local company called AA Medical. Our neurologist saw that my husbands mask was leaking so much that the CPAP wasn’t helping him. He suggested OPtigen and so happy he did. We were given a therapist that works for them that resides here in Vegas. Consistently sends wrong supplies, makes a bad health condition much worse with their inept service. Cancel contract!
Deliberately sends the wrong supplies, agents are contemptuous of military members. Cancel contract!
Extremely poor customer service! The billing inquiries number on invoice is understaffed. Have waited hours upon hours to get through. Called the Service Inquiries number, and waited a good bit. Have asked several times to relay a message to billing with my contact information. But never once got a call back from billing or anyone. I would not recommend Optigen to anyone, and have discontinued service with this company.
Service is awful. Latest example: placed order 5-6-19. Called 5-20-19 to check. Nothing had been done with my order. Re-placed the order, now have to wait 2 wks or more longer. This has been the rule rather than the exception. Two times, wrong supplies sent; had to be returned and new order sent. No sense of commitment or conscientiousness. More than once asked, after a snafu, for special mailing/shipping to no avail. Guess Medicare is the "cash cow" that permits such ineptitude. I have spent 3 months and numerous phone calls trying to order supplies from Optigen. Phone personnel are pleasant and there doesn't appear to be a problem but I never receive a follow-up phone call. Optigen is not accredited by the BBB, has a 'F' rating, and 32 Complaints filed against them. My doctor recommended them because they have a local office (Lincare). I will look for another supplier.
