The Definition of Customer Service!! – I went there on the recommendation of a coworker. I had broken my glasses and was in a real bind since I was going on vacation in 2 days. They fit me in to see the doctor, who gave me a very thorough and professional exam. The young lady who helped me with the glasses was extremely knowledgeable about every frame, lens and extra that I could want or need. HORRENDOUS – went there for eye exam and new glasses, they over-prescribed me and made me dizzy. had to go back four times to correct it AND got attitude. 500$ down the drain. what a waste. go to FOR EYES by grand central .
Poor – This place is realy bad they say that they are associeted with all the optical arround wall street just to take the bussines the owner is realy mean have no mannerr and he is always over priced the uggly frames that he have
Excellent Service – Optical insight provides excellent service. They allowed me as much time as I needed for my exam, gave me trial lenses, and delivered the prescription to my apartment. I highly recommend them for anyone who is looking for a place that values customers.
They are great ! – I had an excellent experience at optical Insight. The Dr. she was great and really sweet. They gave me a temporary pair of contacts to wear for the day to see if i like them and was comfortable with the prescription, I thought was excellent. They were really quick I got my new contacts the next day.

I had a pretty good experience here. – I agree with the lady down below. This place is not as bad as people are making it out to be. I also have been a patient here for about 5 years. I work at Goldman Sachs and they accept my insurance. They have my contacts in stock and when I had an eye infection and couldn't wear my contacts, the doctor wrote me a prescription and had my back up glasses made in 20 minutes while I waited. Huh? READ READ READ!!!!! – Oh MY Gosh!! I have just notified Optical Insight on this matter...those bad reviews that were posted are not from actual patients (which I had a weird feeling about from the beginning)...but they are from someone trying to sabotage their business. I overheard through the grapevine ( a very close grapevine) that they had it in for Optical Insight. Mind you, Optical Insight has been established there for decades. Store is a rip off. – I purchased $250 sunglasses here. Eight months later my credit card company found a $600 charge on my card that looked suspicious. The store put $600 on my card that they could not explain. They said they would look into it then I never heard back from them. When I called them they would either screen my calls or give me the run around. My credit card company is investigating and I am filing a complaint with the FTC.
