Just saw Dr. Zieker as he continues to monitor my cataracts. Twenty years ago, he did my PRK (which is now LASIK) and my vision is still 20/20 in one eye and 20/25 in the other. He also treated my adult son when he lost his vision due to diabetes. Dr. Zieker replaced the damaged lenses in his eyes and restored his vision. He's amazing at what he does and I have no doubt that my eyes are in good hands.
I have been a patient of Dr. Steven Lobel for many years, and have been very happy with his work and his professionalism. He referred me to an eye surgeon when he noticed the beginning of a retinal detachment, thereby saving my eyesight. When I lost one of my contact lenses last week, I called this office to see about getting a new one, I was told that since I don't carry any of the insurance companies they are affiliated with, they cannot help me. I have been with this practice for around 12 yrs. in office staff in Albany and Troy offices are great. Most recently in the Albany office and the efficiency of the staff was remarkable. Dr. Mediwale is great-highly recommend her!
People who write these negative reviews seem to leave a few things out...1) you get called to the back within 15 minutes or less. Once you are back there a person will update your medical history and do a few tests on your eyes. Next another person will come to do further testing on your eyes then they will dilate them. You will sit in another waiting room for approximately 20-30 minutes...why because that's how long it takes for your eyes to dilate. After that you see the doctor.
