I have been with Opex for about 5 years now and haven't looked back since the day I joined. I have competed in multiple CrossFit competitions and completed 2 triathlons including 1 half iron man. My coach (Hunter Ward) has been instrumental in my fitness journey in and out of the gym. When I need something he is there and listens. I Have been a member for over 7 years. I have truly enjoyed the personalized approach I have received from the coaching staff and owners at Opex. I can honestly say that I have better range of motion and strength through my shoulders. I have found that my Coach (Dennis) has always been receptive to request for either harder or easier workouts based on where my work load and home life were at. Opex is a fantastic gym! If you want workout plans designed with your body in mind, this is the place. The workout app makes it super easy to stay on track and every time you’re in the gym there’s a coach on the floor. This coach will ensure that you’re doing the movement optimally and to avoid injury. The owners and coaches here are stellar. Opex was a life changer in helping me recover from a fractured shoulder and regain mobility and strength. I highly recommend Opex!

Tara is an amazing owner and trainer. An expert at what she does, and beyond great with her clients. Dennis, however, is an abusive person. He did not show this side of himself until my family had been at their gym for over a year and spent thousands of dollars there. He verbally abused my partner, who was trying to get fit and healthy and was progressing beautifully. If you are looking for a professional trainer relationship with respectful communication, stay far away from the co-owner, Dennis. However, Tara can’t be beat.... read more
