ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! This place just bought my mortgage from Chase and I've had a problem with them from the first time I logged on to their website to the first time I spoke with a customer service rep. All I wanted was a routing number so I could pay my mortgage and you would have thought I asked to borrow a million dollars. All the negative reviews they've gotten are well deserved. These people are HORRIBLE, just HORRIBLE!!!
The customer service is non existent, been fighting with them for weeks now on about three simple issues and none of them can get resolved. I think it’s about time for me and my family to cut ties with the Flagstar Bank and go somewhere else with my money. Flagstar bank....... more like scammer bank or Jokester bank.
Closed all of my accounts with WF before the change. Got a letter in the mail from Flagstar dated 12/7/18 notifying me that my account (that was closed) was over drafted. I called and waited over 30 minutes on hold. They said that it was a service fee but it had been refunded. I notified them that all of my accounts were closed before the change and they were unable to tell me why they still showed one open while the others were closed. Very bad service , on hold more than 1.5 hours the first time. 2 hours the second time. When I was able to speak with a person, she was rude and short. Not helpful at all. Flagstar bank was not my choice, the bank I had my lone with sold the paper, now I’m stuck with very bad service! What do you do with you can’t get answers ? I would not recommend this bank. I’m paying for no service and disrespect.
I am an insurance agent and this is probably the worst service I have EVER seen. Every time I call, I am on hold for over an hour. I have been trying to get proof of insurance over to them and have sent 3 faxed to three different phone numbers. It seems they want to force place insurance on their customers. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!
I would give them zero stars their costumer services sucks. I have RECEIVED letter that my flood insurance was canceled or has lapsed which is not true. They have forced place insurance one us and now we have 2 flood insurance companies. I have sent them the paperwork that they needed. I am still fighting with them. We purchased a boat and financed through Flagstar. My husband accidentally made two payments the first month. We called and had them move one of the payments to the following month on October 4th. One month later, we are getting letters and emails that our account is accruing late fees and is past due. Zero Stars. Seriously? You give these slimeballs an A+ rating? You do know about what the Consumer Financail Protection Bureau did in 2014, right? And the Ginnie Mae stated in February they were churning VA refinance loans and ripping off veterans - right?? I would give these people a 0 If that was possible. My mortgage was transferred to them . They sent me a statement stating to set up my new payments. I am never late on payments so I set up a payment for the due date of my mortgage payment. They had transferred my autopayment from my previous mortgage holder. Therefore, they charged my account twice. Luckily I caught it and contacted them the day of the charge.
