My home was damaged by hail in August 2018. The CHUBB Insurance was prompt in the evaluation of the damage and coordination of the required repairs with the selected contractor. The settlement monies were issued to Flagstar in December 2018, and for two months I have not been successful in obtaining funds for repair of the home. No adequate representation in the Flagstar Loss Claims Department, no Supervisory contact, multiple submissions of information, it is unfortunate. In addition, the home is suffering further damage th... read more

In Loss Mitigation. Denied. They said I couldn't afford my house. No Joke! Why do you think I am asking for help? As in, lower my monthly payment. Get a different story from each representative in Loss Mitigation and no one will give definite answers to my many questions. Seems they would rather foreclose than help me. They are literally playing with peoples lives and don't care.

Bad customer service Send a mail to close saving account only, and found that both checking account and saving account get closed. Customer service just said nothing to do.

Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! Run... Don't Walk Away If I could give this company a -10 I would. Chase sold my mortgage to this garbage company, and it sucks!! I waited on hold for nearly 50 minutes. I wanted to know why the shortage in the Escrow with Flagstar was a whole different amount than what Chase said it was BEFORE it was sold, and why my mortgage amount was more. I got spun in circles with the woman on the phone, and then told that Flagstar requires a "Cushion Account" to be opened if you have an Escrow acct with t... read more

They are a zero!! Bottom line crooks and should be shut down fast and all upper management should be prosecuted to the fullest extent!!! They’re business plan is set up to confuse and frustrate the customer. Make it difficult to receive payment. Falsify documents all to receive late fees and fines and steer people into default on their loan. I never missed a payment or had a hard time with chase. Now that they sold my mortgage to flagstar it been a nightmare. I Need Help!!! Shut this place down!!!!

I wish I could give them less than 1 star. Our personal loan (along with our checking & savings accounts) was bought by Flagstar from Wells Fargo. The transfer happened Dec 1, 2018. We had already moved our checking & savings to another bank after hearing bad things about Flagstar, but we were still paying on the loan, our final payment date was to be July 20,2019. We called Dec 3 to set up automatic payments from our new checking account. Customer Service took the information and told us that everything was set up for our p... read more

Flagstar Bank is not there for the customer. We were affected by Hurricane Michael. Our insurance cowrote Flagstar onto our insurance checks so now Flagstar is holding the entire insurance payout. I have been jumping through Flagstar's hoops, checklists, phone hold lines, and document uploading site to get the appropriate documents to them and have yet to receive money I need to repair my roof and pay for my fence repairs, let alone the other repairs (like drywall and flooring) that I haven't submitted because I've been focu... read more
