This coffee shop was on my must visit list each time I was in town visiting family. However, their now deleted post stating their stance as an anti-mask establishment and politicizing a pandemic is nothing but hurtful to their community and I will no longer be supporting this establishment! A mask isn't symbolic of anything other than the desire and action to keep your community safe and healthy. It’s not propaganda, its not fearmongering, it’s science.
RecommendedI support open road for standing against the tyranny of the left. Covid 19 is real but is nothing in comparison to all the other viruses and illnesses that kill people Evey year, on top of many other things that kill more people each year such as cigarettes, heart disease, flu, etc.. Highly recommend this wonderful little hometown spot. Great comfy place to sit and enjoy great conversation, great coffee amd pastries. I go through frequent visitor cards often and will keep supporting them. The dozen or so bad reviews in less than an hour is just indicative of people being extremely rude with their campaign to damage a great small business. Chai tea latte is delicious! Berry smoothie is just as good. Staff is always friendly and service is fast.
They don’t follow the mandate to wear masks. Obviously not concerned about their customers health. After reading their ridiculous post about masks infringing on their rights, I’m going to assume the hand washing requirement is also infringing on their rights and not adhered to.
As a part-time resident of Tryon I cannot continue to support a business that does not respect its customer base, it’s community or the law by not following Covid 19 mask mandates or by promoting already unproven theories about its existence. Yes we all have a choice and I choose to take my business elsewhere.
