RecommendedExcellent customer service! My favorites are the caramel frios and the Dark Fusion.
Such a great place to stop in for a solid cup of coffee and a homemade pastry. The staff treat you like family and are very courteous. It's also nice to have a place to go that feels normal in a time when the country is behaving quite abnormally. 🇺🇸 If you haven't been here, stop in and check them out. These guys are far more on point than any Starbucks.
Have always supported local businesses and did carry out when restaurants were closed. That being said, if employees aren't wearing masks, I can't support this business as they are perpetuating the problem. Foolish and dangerous.
They are currently foregoing the North Carolina mask mandate. I have been an avid fan of Openroad’s for years, but as a family member to those in the at-risk population, I was disappointed to discover their opposition to masks. The health of my family and community is very important to me, and I will never choose coffee over it. Not enforcing masks for their employees and customers is a direct violation of CDC guidelines and the NC law. It is irresponsible and puts others at risk.
Wow! Where do I start? The vibe and layout of this shop is spectacular! The coffee is fantastic and my favorite is the cappuccino.

How could Open Road Coffee improve? Require their customers and staff to wear masks. This is the third time I have posted this review. Stop deleting.
A great place for coffee! Highly recommend it. A very relaxing atmosphere, great place to hang out.
Always has amazing coffee when I was in North Carolina this summer before I moved back to Alaska and the staff was always super friendly :) will miss it there a lot !
