Portland vibes, and not in a good way.
Dr. Reed went above and beyond to help me when I desperately needed it. He is truly a gem, and really really listened to me and treated me as a whole not just the issue I went in with. I seriously can't convey enough how incredible my experience with him was. He was knowledgeable, extremely caring, compassionate and helpful, direct when I needed it lol, and made me feel comfortable and hopeful which is not typically how I feel in a doctors office. The ray of sunshine who calls you,always calls as she is leaving so you can imagine how much she just wants to hang up. My teen has genetic high cholesterol yet they won't give me a referral for a cardiologist,even though I have private insurance and will pay for it! what do they care, they obviously are not into preventative care. Many of the doctors have not acknowledged their biases toward poor people, women, and people of color. Therefore, they provide poor treatment or no treatment to people in marginalized groups. It saddens me that these doctors behave in ways that abuse their power and authority. They push back on anyone who questions them and their patients suffer because of their lack of self-reflection and personal growth.
