I give platelets often, I find it annoying to have to answer the same questions every time, just have a box that asks has anything changes since the last visit?
I have donated blood numerous times to the One Blood bus and always was treated well and professional but yesterday was a horrible experience. From when I walked in they where concerned more about getting their 14 donation quota and going home early than getting more donations. My wife(RN) and friend left immediately and I stayed to give my donation. We went to the one blood bus in Palm coast in the Walmart plaza bus 4028. Lisa was extremely rude!! Told me once they got busy that all my kids (12,10,5) would have to sit outside the bus. It was 95 degrees out today. Meanwhile there was 1 person on the bus and she was on the bench inside the kids could of sit on. Everything we said she was rude about. We just left �
I am an active donor and this year for the Pulse anniversary, I wasn't able to donate because my iron was low. I mentioned it here, yesterday, I received a commemorative T-shirt. Thank you, I was nicely surprised.
I GET E-MAIL INVITATIONS TO DONATE MY O-NEG. YET WHY IS IT THAT WHEN I GO TO YOUR MOBILE UNITS I AM TURNED AWAY? I'VE DONATED MORE THAN 5 GALLONS OF BLOOD TO YOUR AGENCY.
