This clinic is extremely disappointing and would give zero stars if I could. Unless you pay the $199 annual fee, you’ll be treated like a second-class patient. Calls go unanswered, and prescriptions aren’t refilled promptly. There are plenty of other primary care doctors in Austin who don’t operate this way and can often see you the same day.
I've been to a few PCP offices in Austin and opted for Amazon after feeling like my PCP just kept trying to upsell me to bill my insurance while treating me like a number. I got extremely friendly and personalized care here. I tend to faint when I get labs and they had a "fainting" kit ready for me with juice, an ice pack, and smelling salts. It's a small gesture that made a big difference and I really appreciate the care here!
I really like my primary care doctor here, Dr. Miller, who moved from South Austin Medical with the others. But I'm not sure One Medical is worth the fee. I really don't get much from the app. If you message your doctor online, it gets intercepted by some NP in another office. And worst of all you can't call the office directly. WHAT KIND OF DOCTOR'S OFFICE DOESN"T TAKE CALLS? Not happy about this at all.
Absolutely not even worth one star
