My home warranty company sent them to check out my AC. The tech tells me that I need a new compressor. Well, that was true. But after he leaves, I get this call from his office about the 'non-covered' charges. A whopping $830!!! And what were these charges for? 1. Sight Glass - $175 (My current unit doesn't have one so why do I need one now?) 2. Disposal of old unit - $150.00 3. Disposal of Freon - $150.00 4. Acid Clean - 175.00 5.
