Ordered some peach trees. They sat on my order a number of weeks. I sent a message to see what was going on, only to find they did not have the variety I had ordered, even though it was still listed as available on their web site. Because they were not quick enough to alert me to this, it was too late to order it from a different nursery. Went with a substitute, and order received 3 days later. The trees were very small, about 28" from the graft union and just over 1/2 inch at the base ( 0.55"-0.68"). The trees, being cut sh... read more
they used to be good. very good. i used to be their customer for years, dutifully sending them a good chunk of my paycheck every spring. but not anymore. ordered two raspberry varieties from them, 5 plants each. first i was given wrong info about shipment date, they kept postponing it. then they finally shipped during heat spell and over weekend. one of the raspberry varieties seems to have survived, the other is pretty much dead. no response from their "customer service" at all. just silence.i'll be filing a complaint.
Very happy with my purchase of 2 blackberry vines. Packaged & shipped with care. I'll order from this site again for next season. Thank you!
I bought a number of fruit and nut trees from them. They are extremely knowledgeable and helpful!
I absolutely love these guys. I'm lucky enough to live near their Portland outlet. I could spend hours browsing through but my spouse keeps me to a half hour or so ;-/ Their selection of perennial edibles is one of a kind, no other nursery I have ever been to even holds a candle to them. Every plant i've bought from them (half dozen trees, dozen or so bushes) have done well - Next on my list is the "Mango" Pawpaw., not in stock at the moment. Awesome plants and awesome people.
I have purchased several trees and shrubs from OGW. All have come in much better condition than any other place I have ordered plants from. The webpage is great and the selection is awesome. I love to discover what kinds of crazy fruits and nuts will grow in my area. So far I have the following from OGW: PawPaw, Jujubee, Kiwi (on the way), honeyberry (on the way), Goumi, yellowhorn, and chestnut. They are very helpful over the phone. Their online form seems to not be working right now because I have not heard back. Pe... read more
OUR TREES ARE NEW THIS SPRING. Many have flowered and are beginning to fruit. Thanks One Green World for AMAZING VARIETY OF FRUITING PERENNIALS!
Placed a large order (33 trees and plants) to be picked up. Asked when would it work for them for me to pick up this order. One Green World called me stating my order was ready to pick up. I arrived Saturday morning prior to opening at 10am, facility opened 5-10 minutes after 10am and my order was not ready. So waited for 1.5 hours while my order was gathered. Not all plants were located. One I was told was available was no longer available. Got to watch other customers come and go with their orders or purchases made on the ... read more
Purchased two Medlar trees last year, they came in great condition, once planted, they thrived very well. I can't wait to get some of their fruit this year. This year will be ordering Cornelian Cherry, Pawpaw trees and fruiting Quince.
