Cannot recommend Once Upon a Stylist enough!!! I first found out about them at my sister wedding in 2020 where they were her hair stylists!! I knew I had to have them as mine in my big day too!! And I’m so glad I did! I ended up fully changing my hair from what I wanted from my trial and Mandi delivered!! Not to mention all of my bridesmaids and flower girls could stop talking about how obsessed they were with their hair styles!! They made the getting ready process so fun and stress free!!
Mandi is so amazing at wedding hairstyles! I was fortunate enough to have Mandi do an updo for me for my wedding ceremony and another style for my reception! I couldn’t be happier with how pretty both styles looked! She also did my entire bridal party and they all looked amazing!!! So happy I had her for my wedding day!!
It was definitely hard planning the wedding from so far away (I live in DC, but got married in Gainesville, FL), but Mandi was great to work with throughout the process! The hair trial, for me, was essential. I have baby fine, straight hair that I feel can be difficult to work with because it just wants to go back to being straight and flat. I hired Mandi to do my hair for my wedding, and it was one of the best decisions I made! I actually discovered Mandi at a bridal expo. I feel very lucky that I did! She was very professional and worked with me to help plan a time for our hair trial. As soon as the trial was over, I paid her in full knowing that I needed her to be the one to do my wedding hair! Mandi is the ONLY hair stylist I trust to recommend to my clients. As a wedding photographer, it is extremely important to me that my brides are radiant for their wedding day. Mandi not only delivers incredible hair styles, but she also makes sure every girl feels like a princess! The process is just as important as the final result. I even made sure she was the hair stylist for my best friend's wedding (which I was also a bridesmaid in!) so I've experienced Mandi's handy-work first hand! ;)
