I will no longer be shopping here as they now discriminate and put down soon to be mothers. They will not hire pregnant woman and when questioned about why they ask "what the mother is planning on doing when baby comes and with her other child". the girl got hired and pretty much fired the same day for being pregnant.
For starters you make pregnant feel like they aren’t worthy of working at your store. It’s so unprofessional to do what you did, you can deny it all you want but we all know the truth. You give women hope that they will have a job until you find out that they have a human life growing inside of them then you back track and basically make them feel like complete s**t. Please remember that not everything you read on the internet is true. We never offered that woman a position and in fact the woman that was hired for the job was also pregnant. As was commented before, our business is all about moms and moms-to-be and we will continue proudly serving and employing them in our store...as we always have.
I honestly have shopped at this store for a very long time and I have even sold several times after today I'm sorry I will not ever sell agian you post what your in need of and when people take things you basically spit in their face because you take 1 maybe 2 things. today alone I brought in 4 baskets full of things one had nothing but jeans in it that my boys barely wore last year all purchased brand new and you took nothing. its honestly just sad that you treat your customers the way you do. people go there who cant affor... read more

RecommendedI enjoy buying items at Once Upon a Child and the staff is nice however bringing in items for them to purchase from me not so much. I had to giggle today I dropped 2 totes for them to go thru today and 2 specific items in my totes I was laughing that they were still in there. Earlier this year my mother bought 2 of these items at this store to keep at her house as extra clothes. They were NEVER worn by my children since they grew out of them. I don’t sell clothes to you anymore because you are EXTREMELY picky. I get that you are though. When I shop there I am looking for gently used clothes, not stained, pilling or old styles (not that I really care about style, my kids are 6 and 1, who cares if they wear jumping bean or Granimals, seriously). I like the nice arrangement of the store.
